Please note:

  • Fees are based on time of arrival to the clinic, not the time of consult.

  • Medical consults over 20 minutes will incur an additional charge. These are called long consults. Consultation time includes review of available health records, discussion with or referrals to other health services, and nurse time. If you have had an ECG long consult fees apply.

Notes:

  1. * For patients not eligible for After Hours Funding, there is a $40 surcharge on public holidays.

  2. All prices are inclusive of GST.

  3. After hours is 5pm-8am Monday-Friday, all weekend/public holidays.

  4. ACC provides no-fault personal injury cover for all New Zealand residents and visitors however an ACC co-payment applies to all patients over 13 years of age. If ACC decline a claim, patients will be liable for any additional charges for their treatment.

  5. Change of dressing fees are for subsequent visits to Shorecare. If it is your first visit to Shorecare for that wound, you will be charged an initial consult fee.

  6. Additional charges may apply for materials, long consultations >20mins (e.g. ECG) and equipment hire.

  7. Canopy Imaging charges apply for ACC x-rays.

  8. Please note that patients over 13 years of age seen for medical and ACC reviews within 48 hours will incur a half charge.

  9. Payment is payable at the time of consult. (Non Residents must pay up-front.)

  10. If you require time off work or a medical certificate, please ask for this at the time of consult.

  11. If you require insurance or university forms to be completed, please ask for this at the time of consult.

  12. If you require ambulance transfer to hospital, fees may apply.
