Please note:
Fees are based on time of arrival to the clinic, not the time of consult.
Medical consults over 20 minutes will incur an additional charge. These are called long consults. Consultation time includes review of available health records, discussion with or referrals to other health services, and nurse time.

In general, yes it does cost to visit us.
We are a private organisation that receives minimal funding from the Government and therefore, just like your usual GP, we charge for our services.
There are however exceptions to this. We offer FREE ACC consultations for all under 14-year olds, FREE after hours* medical care for under 14-year olds and we have subsidised care for those who qualify.
We are ACC accredited however you will need to pay an ACC surcharge when you visit us.
*After hours is:
Between 5pm-8am Monday through Friday
All day on Saturday and Sunday
All day on public holidays

There is no charge at all times for ACC consults for children aged 0-13 years.

ACC provides no-fault personal injury cover for all New Zealand residents and visitors however an ACC co-payment applies for patients aged 14 and over.
Patients under the age of 14 are free for ACC visits at all times.
Patients who have a valid community services card are eligible for subsidised fees.
Should ACC decline your claim, you will be liable for any additional charges for the treatment provided.

Maternity subsides can only be applied to problems directly related to the pregnancy. Other medical conditions treated during pregnancy will require payment based on our usual fee structure.

Shorecare is a Southern Cross Easy-Claim partner. Simply show your member card and we’ll do the rest.
If your plan covers urgent care consults, Southern Cross will reimburse Shorecare directly and you'll only pay any remaining contribution you're responsible for.

Additional charges may apply for materials, long consultations >20mins (e.g. ECG) and equipment hire. Horizon Radiology and Canopy Imaging charges apply for ACC x-rays and after hour call outs.
Please note that patients over 13 years of age seen for medical and ACC reviews within 48 hours will incur a half charge.
Payment is payable at the time of consult. (Non Residents must pay up-front.)
If you require time off work or a medical certificate, please ask for this at the time of consult.
If you require insurance or university forms to be completed, please ask for this at the time of consult.
If you require ambulance transfer to hospital, fees may apply.
