ACC Charges

ACC provides no-fault personal injury cover for all New Zealand residents and visitors. This insurance cover is comprehensive but does not meet the full costs of primary injury management so an ACC surcharge applies. However, if ACC decline a claim, patients will be liable for any additional charges for their treatment.
See our fees page for our charges.

Please also keep in mind that ACC has a limit on the cover that they will provide for your injury. This includes:

  • Crutches – 1 per claim
  • Simple orthotics (wrist and knee splints, shoulder immobiliser etc.) – 1 per orthotic per claim
  • Moonboot – 1 per claim
  • Casts – 5 per claim
  • Consultations at any clinic across NZ for your injury – 15 presentations
